But, suppose that you worked late to meet a deadline; you were late for another appointment. You sent the letter (by email), and printed off a copy. The printer was on the way out; so you shut down your computer and grabbed your outdoor clothes. You broke into a trot on the way to the printer, hampered by your overcoat (which you hadn't put on properly), and nearly tripping over your shoe-laces. You grabbed the print-out and looked. Then you realized that the letter that you had sent to the Manager contained a few typos.
