    Default through fresh eyes

    Hi,

I've just got a query regarding some idiomatic expressions. In the following sentence, would it be possible to use 'to see through fresh/different/new eyes' instead of 'to see in a new/different light' and retain the meaning?

If this addiction is officially classified as a psychiatric disorder, people will see the problem in a different/new light.

    Thanks in advance,

    Diafana
