    Default Longest/Oldest working employee

    Hi guys

I have a little doubt in here. How do I refer to someone who is the employee working for the longest time in a company? Would it be "the longest working employee"? Is there another more specific expression to use than this?
I guess "the oldest" would mean he is the older one working, but not necessarily the one working the longest, is it right?
Thanks a lot for all of you. This forum is amazing!

    Regards

    - Andre

    "The longest serving employee" works.
I guess "the oldest" would mean he is the olderst one working, but not necessarily the one working the longest,; is it that right? Yes

Are such people given a chair as a retirement present?
