What is the difference between (a) and (b)
(a) I would be available to work at your office for the next two weeks
(b) I will be available to work at your office for the next two weeks
. . . and they both need a full stop at the end.
Thank you teachers for your help
I have studied the Conditionals. "If" is not listed as part of the sentence (a) "I would be available to work for the next few days". In this example, I assume it is a conditional. Am I right?
There is an implied conditional - something like:" I would be available to work at your office for the next two weeks if that were necessary".
As 5jj says, the condition exists, even it's not in the sentence - otherwise the sentence wouldn't be true. So you have two sentences out of context. One has meaning by itself and can stand alone (the future tense one).
The conditional sentence can't stand as it is without a context. Even if the "if clause" is elsewhere in the conversation or paragraph, or even if it's implied, it does exist.
Thank you teachers for the explanation. I understand the conditional lessons better
