When it comes to me Can we use 'When it comes to me' when we are giving our own opinion? As in:
When it comes to me, I'm against the plan/idea/decision.

Teacher Re: When it comes to me It looks acceptable. I have got nothing against its use as a way of expressing one's opinion orally. But I would avoid it in formal writing.

Or simply: I think...I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.
