    Question What does 'laking' mean in this sentence, please?

    Hi,
    Would anyone please tell me waht 'laking' means in this sentence?

    '...respectable proponents of opposing viewpoint were not laking.'

    It must be a typo. 'laking' does not exist, and 'lacking' makes sense.
