"people"; plural or singular? Is "people" a plural noun or a singular noun?
Which is correct?
Some people say / Some people says
does the rule change if we don't use any determiner?

"People" is the plural form of "person".
So it would be "Some people say".

Teacher Re: "people"; plural or singular? 'People' is normally the plural of 'person'; You sentence must read 'some people say...'. However, with a meaning similar to 'race', 'ethnic group', it can have a plural 'peoples'.
