Q1:
Any difference between "bus station" and "bus stop"? I my mind, "bus station" refers to the ends of the line that a bus runs along, while "bus stop" means a dot on the line .
Q2
when we describe pronunciation, we ofen use the words "dropped V.S.quiet", are they the same? For example: in "just past", /t/ is quiet.

A bus station is a place where a person can buy tickets and wait for a bus.
A bus stop is a place where a bus will stop to pick up and discharge passengers. Tickets cannot be purchased at a bus stop - unless there is a machine that vends tickets at the stop.

I tend to associate bus stations with inter-city travel. You go to a bus station in one city and buy a ticket for a bus to another city (Greyhound, for instance). For bus stations that serve a particular city, the station is usually a nexus for all of that city's bus routes. Bus stops are just as you described them. They're just stops along a bus route.

Bus stations usually have several buses on different lines, where they all find their terminus (is that word used here? ;) Stops just serve one or two lines, along the way.
