Default problem in error recognition test

Hi guys. . . I am newbie in this forum. . and I have a question for you. . I hope you can help me. .

I have a book about error recognition test. . there is the question/sentence :

No method of making people agree to your view point is as effective as this one.

In the answer key the asnwer is No method.

But there is no explanation why No method is the error. .

I want to know why "No method" is the mistake. .

and what word should be added to change that word ?. .

    Thank you all. .

This sentence appears 100% correct. Not sure who thinks it's wrong.

    Not a teacher

I suggest it shoudl be "no other method."

Saying "no method" has the same flaw in logic as saying "She scored better than 100% of the people who took the test." That would mean she scored better than herself... which is impossible. "No method" would omit even "this method."

I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.
