    Default Onomatopeia / Sound for scolding child

    What's the onomatopeia / sound that you use to refer to the spanking of a child?

    Like オシリぺんぺん in Japanese or "pao pao" in Spanish.

    Note: I am not advocating this form of child disciplining.

    Hi, pizza.

    "Spank" itself is believed to have originated as an onomatopoeia. It can be used as one in Modern English too.

    WHACK! CRACK! SLAP! POW! THUD! A few more minutes of fighting sounds and then
    another moment of quiet. Then I heard, SPANK! SPANK! SPANK! SPANK! SPANK!;
    followed by what sounded like a boy...crying.
