    Default Native english speaker problems

    Hello everyone,
I am a native english speaker who is struggling with pronouncing words, spelling, grammar. Also lacking vocabulary. Latest word I couldn't pronounce was "critically" I feel completely ashamed that cannot speak my native language that well. Hopefully someone could provide guidance for me.

    Thanks

Are there any programs in your area for help with literacy?

Dyslexia has nothing to do with speech production or impediments.

To the original poster, don't worry, all such speech difficulties can be overcome. There are methods by which you can train yourself, or better yet, see a speech therapist to overcome some of these difficulties. You'll be proud of your speech in no time -- maybe a year or so.

Well, you can become president of the United States and have pronunication issues.

I can't spell without computer assistance.

Few natives know much about the grammar of our own language.

Do you feel your use of English is getting in the way of communicating? Do people misunderstand you? If not, then don't stress.

Try to read more advanced writing than you're used to, and see if that helps with the vocabulary.Listen carefully to trained speakers. But don't stress.

I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.

I think you migth be wrong here.
However, given your categorical reply I think that the further discussion is senseless.
    No offence.

    It's not a disease but a disorder.

On balance, I guess most of us are going to take more account of konungursvia's reply than yours.

    No offence.
