Can you please tell me which of the following is correct ?

1 consider on accepting or;
2 consider accepting

Preposition should come along with a noun if I'm not mistaken, therefore shouldn't it be
"consider accepting" ?

Either of those phrases could be used in a grammatical sentence.
Prepositions can come before gerunds, so that's no reason for 1. to be wrong.

Why not give us the sentence in which you are not sure which phrase to use?

I can't at the moment think of a context in which 'consider on' could be acceptable, though prepositions can be followed by the -ing form of a verb: I look forward to seeing you, for example.

Please try to give more context. It is usually difficult to judge whether words or phrases are acceptable or not without full context. For example, most people would initially say that 'to seeing' is ungrammatical, but 'seeing' follows 'to' naturally in the sentence in my first paragraph.
