    What is the differences between "autograph" and "signature"?
    What do fans ask pop stars for? "autograph" or "signature"?

    A related but different usage is as an adjective (in both cases).

    An autograph [not autographed] copy of a manuscript is written in the author's hand.

    A chef's signature dish is one he's famous for making. (This may be related to the expression 'signature tune'.)
