Default go to bed with/ sleep with

He wanted a woman he could go to bed with.

He wanted a woman he could sleep with.

    Hi,

Does the first one sound less promiscuous and gigolo-like on native ears, compared to the second one?

or is it pretty much the same deal?

There is no real difference between them.
    emsr2d2 and rainous like this.
Context is always important; labelling is rarely important.

I don't think either of them make the man sound "promiscuous" or "gigolo-like". Most adult men (and women) would like to find someone that they can have an intimate relationship with.
