    Default Teuroteu

Teuroteu, a music genre still popular in Korea and Japan is a kind of music that pulls the heartstrings of listeners. As the pronunciation implies, Teruroteu sounds quite not English, but when I found it in dictionary, I could find the following examples.
There's some English words that are from Korean such as Kimchi or hwabyong, but I can't even guess if Teuroteu is from Korean or Japanese or possibly English. I have no idea, Tell me if you have heard of this word.

    ex1)Teuroteu is growing in popularity.
ex2)Trot sells, so yes, trot it is
ex3)These days, she's active as a teuroteu singer

It's not from any English that I know- I don't know about Japanese.
