    Default Curse words

    I watched Wanda Sykes show on PodCast.
    A part in the shows is about respecting the president.
    I quote some parts;
    My publisher comes to me and says "they want me to you this note"
    they say "don't use NO-F words or IN words.

    I do know what the F words and 4 character words.
    but no idea what is 'IN' words.

    The 'IN' might be wrong. The sound was like 'IN'.

    Help me out.

    This content might not be suitable for this forum.
    I hope not.

    I expect it was the "N-word." This word is actually more offensive to me than the "F-word." You can look up the phrase "the n-word" to find out exactly what that word it, but perhaps it will be enough to know it's a HIGHLY offensive word for a person of African descent.
    I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.

    The 'n' word is 'nigger' which in American usage applies to individuals of African descent. Generally stating 'the n word' is sufficient to make the reference and therfore to generate the laughter in a comedy setting.

    Preceptor, we prefer that offensive words are NOT written here. Use * or ?? or whatever you need to so people who are offended by these words don't have to see them.

    Had you replied to any post other than mine, I would have deleted it.

    Please do NOT type offensive words directly into the thread in the future.

    Thanks for your answers!

    I was able to find by typing 'N-word' in Google and see what it means.
