    Default Who run/runs the word?

    Who run the world?

Girls. This year women put their countries on the map.

Is 'run' correct? I would use 'runs'.

    Thanks.

"Run" is not correct. It's "who runs the world".

Context is always important; labelling is rarely important.

So would I - even when the answer is expected to be in the plural.

A: 'Year 6 pupils run the Chess Club whilst those in Year 7 run the Poetry Society and Year 8 students run the Drama Club.'

B; 'Who runs the Music Society?'
