Default To bid good morning / good night.

    Hello!
Is it a polite way to say: I bit a good morning (good night, farewell, goodbye)?
    Do you use such expressions?

    Thank you!

"I bid you good morning' is rarely used, except, occasionally, as a curt, formal 'goodbye'.

I recommend that you do not use it.

Context is always important; labelling is rarely important.

Good morning and the other expressions are polite- intonation could make them sound more formal, but there's nothing wrong with using them.
