Hello.
Can I refer to a file created tonight as 'Created by somebody on 09.01.2012 at 21:46' ?
Thanks, Alex.
Thanks.
Here is another question, can I put the by part at the end or I had better use this like I wrote?
Just be aware that some people will think you mean September 1 and others will think you mean January 9. While Sept 1, 2012, is in the future NOW, so therefore not yet possible for a creation date of an exising file, by Sept 2 there could be confusion.
I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.
I guess because we say Sept 1, 2010, we write 09/01/10, so 09.01.12 would mean September 1 for me.
When I see 120901 I assume it's year/month/date so that when you list them in order, you have sequential dates.
