Re: fill a long-felt need
1. Traditionally, the Comanche Indians placed great importance on buffalo hunting.
2. The new library, with its many books and its quiet reading rooms, fills a long-standing need (or fills a long-time). Long felt need is incorrect.
Try and pay closer attention to your punctuation.
