    Default Some phrases with conditionals

I have some phrases to do, and I'm just asking to correct my answers in case they are wrong, because some of these phrases are confusing to me.
    My answers are in bold, the rest is given;

    1. Tara cancelled the picnic because it was raining.(the condition is: "complete the second sentence so that it's got the same meaning as the first")
    If it
hadn't been raining, Tara wouldn't have cancelled the picnic.
    2. Nancy wanted to watch her favorite TV show, but she had a test the next day.
    Nancy would
've watched her favorite TV show if she didn't have the test the next day.

Condition: "complete the sentence with the correct form of the verbs"
    1. I didn't know it was Clara's birthday. I wish someone had told me. (tell)
    2. I wish I knew about Tom's accident last week, but nobody told me anything.

    Another:
    1. I'm sorry that I didn't invite Pam to the party.
    I wish
    I invited Pam.

    Should it be "had invited"?

    Thank you.

    Hi!

    I am no teacher!

A suggestion: Nancy would've watched her favourite TV show if she hadn't prepared for her test the next day.

Don't know if it's better - but i would have done it that way...

It's usual to write 'would have' in full.

Context is always important; labelling is rarely important.

There is no mention of Tara preparing for her test in the original sentence so it would be inappropriate to suddenly bring it in for the rewritten sentence.
