go + infinitive or ing form

Thank you and in the end could the verb 'start' follow the same pattern above as the verb 'go' ?

e.g. Start do it! or Start doing it!

No.

Start doing it.
Start to do it.

I think BarbD said in a similar thread just recently, that "go" and "come" are really the only two verbs which generally attract the construction we've been discussing.
