You could use 'that' after 'was'; this might make things clearer for you. The 'us' is, of course, 'our plane'.

Then what happened was that you see their performance decline, and they're not reinvigorated.

It is not essential, but it is better to use.

I think 5jj may have meant for you to rewrite that in a more polite tone, which you did by adding please at the end of your sentence.
I don't want to sound patronising now and I hope you don't mind if I stick my nose in. However I am wondering: why don't you try and practice your English by using phrases like "Would you mind...?" or modals such as "Could...?" followed by please in the end. They both sound nicer than just giving an order followed by that tiny little p word that you find everywhere in English. As far as I could read in your posts your level and command of English are good enough to make polite requests. Of course, this is only my humble opinion...

Thank you. Actually ,while asking any question,I never pay attention on sentence I am going to write. But I am very grateful for all you,teachers who points every thing. Next time I will mind my questions too.
