    Default During all the week

    Hi,

I wrote "There are people during all the week" and my teacher said it's wrong that I need to write "There are people during the whole/entire week." but I don't understand what's wrong with "during all the week".

    Can anyone help me?

    Thanks

"During the week" would be sufficient. "During" in combination with "all" is actually redundant as well as clumsy. "Whole" and "entire" in combination with "during" is also redundant, but could be/is used for emphasis.

It's an odd sentence either way. "There are people" where?

"There are people there all the week in the office."

Is it not like "I was up all the night"?
