Have you seen them produced by educated native speakers of English?
I am happy being myself. Don't try to change me.
I'm happy to have been invited I'm happy that I was invited.
I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.
