On Monday vs On Mondays
Hello,
Once the speaker has established a context in which is clear that he/she is talking about a habit, can we say?:
On Monday I usually get up at eight o’clock whilst on Tuesday I usually get up at nine o’clock.
Meaning every Monday and every Tuesday.
I want to avoid using: on Mondays and on Tuesdays, which, certainly, would be much clearer that we are making references to every Monday and every Tuesday.
Thank you

Re: On Monday vs On Mondays
As you accept that 'on Mondays/Tuesdays' is much clearer, why are you trying to avoid saying this? Why do you want to say something that could be less clear?
Context is important. Please provide enough for us to be able to deal effectively with your question.
Your thread title should include all or part of the word/phrase being discussed.
If you just want to know the meaning of a word, try OneLook Dictionary Search first.

Re: On Monday vs On Mondays
"Mondays, I usually..." is another possibility.
