    Is it correct to say 'a scale of 1-10' or ' a scale from 1 to 10'?

    On a scale of one to ten -- That's how I'd say it.

    I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.
