Default angry with somebody doing sth

    Hello.

    1. Can I say, 'He was angry with his sister saying he would not follow through'?
    2. If I replaced saying with having said, wouldn't that sound a little pretentious in an informal conversation?

I would be grateful if you would correct any mistakes you might find in this post.

    Thanks, Alex.

It has been two days since I posted the question, so I think it would be good to put this thread on top.

    Regards, Alex.
