Would you mind if I + Past Tense ?!

I have a doubt.

If I say :
- Would you mind if I wrote to you sometimes ?

I'm using the past tense, but is it correct ?
. when we start the question with Would
we have regular verbs or irregular verbs that have the same past tense and participle in general. It becomes really confusing to identify then.

Also:
Can we say: - Do you mind if I write to you sometimes ?
In this case the Do allows me to use in the infinitive, right ?

This is fine. The question is constructed as a hypothetical condition.

We don't need to identify them. If we do, it's pretty clear that we do not have a past participle in such a sentence as "Would you mind if I left now?" A past participle cannot directly follow a grammatical subject . Compare: "Would you have minded if I had left then?"

Can we say: - Do you mind if I write to you sometimes ? Yes
In this case the Do allows me to use in the infinitive, right ?
Mind is the bare infinitive'; 'write' is present simple. Compare: "Does she mind if he writes to her sometimes?"
