Is it correct to say the following in that way:

It seems that I was wrong (Mistaken) when I thought that someone can help me out in regards to my question. It's a good thing that everyone help others who need to be helped.

See above. I changed "everyone" to "other people" because I couldn't reconcile your statement that you were wrong to think that someone would help you with your second statement that everyone helps. If everyone helps, then you wouldn't have been mistaken.

I agree with SlickVic that it would be better to use just one rather than both wrong and mistaken.
