where/what/which (+ at/in)
Where are you studying/working at/in?
What school are you studying/working at/in?
Which school are you studying/working at/in?
1) I'd like to know whether the at/in is redundant in the first sentence.
2) Isn't it hard to distinguish 2 and 3? Both sounds fine?
3) should we use in/at?
thanks a lot

Neither. Stop at studying/working.
What school are you studying/working at/in?
In BrE, "at".

They mean the same thing.
3) should we use in/at?
In BrE, "at". Thanks a lot

Does it mean that In AmE, American use "in"?

I wasn't sure, that's why I only gave the BrE answer. However, I know Americans say "I'm in school" so I'm not sure if that also goes for "What school are you studying in?" I'm sure an AmE speaker will answer you.
