Can we use"let" in passive form?

Hi
In our course book, the learners are warned not to use "let" in passive form. However, I've heard it from some of my colleagues. Is it true? Can we say "She was let to work here."

No.

In the sense of 'released', "He was let go" is possible, but that's about it.

Some phrasal verbs with let can be used in the passive too.

As the others have said, no. The sentence you quoted should read "She was allowed to work here" or "She was permitted to work here".

Hi,
I think that the verb "let" isn't correctly used in passive form ' but it used as the verb " is allowed to" .
