    What do YOU think? (I don't know anyone who uses the answer to the second one in casual conversation.)
    I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.

    ps. 2b should be sub rosa, not cub rosa.
