    Default take turn

    1. Take turns doing something.
    2. Take turns to do something.
Are they both correct? Which way I'd better take? I heard 1 is American and 2 is British, but not from a reliable reference, I just waned to confirm it.
    Thank you,
    a

    Both sound OK to me.

Please see my amendments in red above. I agree with bhaisahab and 5jj that they're both fine in BrE.

My instinct is "take turns doing." And I'm American.

I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.
