Default What does "timely passing" mean?

    hallo

In an obituary, when someone announces the "timely passing" of someone, what do they mean by that?

    Thank you!

It means they've died after a full (long) life.

"Untimely passing" is probably more common. Someone who dies "too soon" usually from some illness or accident.

Doesn't it mean a insult or nagging? because if you tell some has died at good timing then it means that he doesn't deserve to live more or something like that.

I have heard more times but I think if I use opposite of it here then I will end up in some uncalled state.

Just imagine, we use sad demise when one dies but we cannot use happy demise.

No. I hardly think a person's obituary is going to contain insults.

Haven't you ever experienced a person who has lived a good long life and their death seemed appropriate?

I would personally feel it is appropriate and inevitable but I cannot express it here.I can't be politically incorrect.

My first thought was that the OP meant "untimely passing" I can't say I have ever seen "timely passing" no matter how long and full the life of the person has been.
