Only 'learning to repeat' is natural.

So, Is there any cases we use V-ing after V-ing?
Such as 'I am trying swimming' and something like this.
    Thanks.

If a particular verb can be followed only by a gerund then you can use V+ing after V+ing.

Note that 'am am trying to swim' and 'I am trying swimming' mean different things. The first may end up in drowning, the second in improved health.
