    Default Do you feel boredom/boring/bored?

    Hi teachers,
Do you feel boredom or boring when you go out with a friend? Boredom or boring?

    Many thanks.

'Do you feel bored when you go out with a friend?' This one I'm sure is correct. Bored is an adjective (how you feel - bored)
Boredom is a noun, I believe that grammatically it could be used there, though it is less common.
Boring is an adjective too, but couldn't be applied here because it means 'not interesting' and you want to say not interested = bored.

    Hello, Naeem.

I probably would use "bored" in your sentence.

    *****

The main reason I answered your post was to remind you to be very careful in using those words:

    I am bored. = Something/someone bores me.

I am boring. = I bore other people! (Only a very honest person would say that!)

"Boredom" is OK but I believe "bored" would be more common. Use of "boring" in that context would mean that you (the person spoken to) are the source/cause of boredom.

    I am bored.
    I feel bored.
    I experience boredom.
I am not boring! I'm very interesting! People love listening to me talk.
