Confused - how to pronouce? "abuses", "teaches", "reaches", "catches" and so on
Hi teachers,
When I was in school, my teacher taught me tenses. I learnt them very well. To pronounce a word correctly, I got an Oxford Dictionary. In Present Indefinite "s" or "es" with the verb is frequently used when the subject is a singular noun. But I don't know how to pronounce a verb correctly when "es" is added.
"abuses", "teaches", "reaches", "catches" and so on. Please tell me the pronunciation of these words here using phonetic symbols. I'll be very thankful to you.
If you have a link that can help me learn it, please do share.
Many thanks.

Context is important. Please provide enough for us to be able to deal effectively with your question.
Your thread title should include all or part of the word/phrase being discussed.
If you just want to know the meaning of a word, try OneLook Dictionary Search first.
