    Post I was hoping to see sarah.

    I was hoping to see sarah.
    a.But she couldn't meet us.that was a pity.
    b.But she couldn't meet us,it was a pity.
    c.But she couldn't meet us,What was a pity.
    d.But she couldn't meet us,which was a pity.

    Is option a correct?

    With a comma instead of a full stop, it's possible. Option "d" is correct if you use correct spacing.
