Hi teachers!
I give you a context: I am not good at maths and my friend, John is not also good at maths. Perhaps, we are at the same level in maths. He despises my maths.
So I wil say to him: 'You are no more good at maths than I am' or 'You are no better at maths than I am'
Could you suggest me a more appropriate sentence for the above context?
Thanks so much!
Context is important. Please provide enough for us to be able to deal effectively with your question.
Your thread title should include all or part of the word/phrase being discussed.

I'm not sure what you meant by "He despises my maths". Can you explain?
Remember - correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing make posts much easier to read.
I meant that: he undervalues my ability of Maths although he is no better at Maths than I am![]()
