What do you think is the difference between "minister" and "pastor"? What I found on the internet is that the latter is more limited while the former is broader. Is it true?

I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.
Many times, the terms are interchangeable but are just used by different denominations. Also depending upon the denomination, the schooling and qualifications vary, regardless of which term is used. Some require no particular education, some require specific Bible education, some even require the exegesis of a Hebrew Old-Testament passage and a Greek New-Testament passage as part of the qualification examination.
