    Default Use of Preposition when using the noun "ARGUMENT"

    Out of the following sentences which is correct and why?
    1. The argument was whether cheese and paneer are two different things.
    2. The argument was on/about/over whether cheese and paneer are two different things.
    3. The argument was whether or not cheese and paneer are two different things.
    4. The argument was on/about/over whether or not cheese and paneer are two different things.

    They are all possible. By the way paneer is a type of cheeese.
