Hi,
Could I have your answers to these tenses exercise?
On the Past Perfect Continuous and Past Perfect Simple.
Taken from National Exams.
1- Leila missed the interview yesterday morning; her train (already, to leave) ……………… the station when she got there.

2- Before she became a doctor, Salma (already-to work) ................... as a biology teacher for 2 years.

3- ''No one was killed because meteorologists (to warn) ............... the authorities long before the disaster took place,'' the reporter said.

Literary
Mine are:
1- Had already left.
2- Had already been working.
3- Had been warning.

I agree with you on #1.
For #2, yours is grammatically correct, but I would have answered "had already worked."
For #3, yours is grammatcially correct, but I would have answered "had warned" -- although "warned" is also okay. Your is correct if the warnings were repeated.
If there is supposed to be only one correct way to write each one, it's a flawed exam.
