What was the name of the doctor? VS What was the doctor's name?
Hi teachers,
Which one is more useable?
a) What was the name of the doctor?
b) What was the doctor's name?
Thanks in advance.

With a following relative clause, we'd normally use only the 'of the doctor' form:
What was the name of the doctor who treated you for malaria?
