    Question just now

    Which would be the right way to open brackets in the following sentence:

    The business usually ......... (make) money but ...........(do) very badly just now.

    Which answer is correct and why(not)

    1. The business usually makes money but did very badly just now.

    2. The business usually makes money but is doing very badly just now.

    I think the second is corect in this particular context.
