Default I will be one year this December

I would like to know if this is grammatically correct in conversational English:
I will be one year this December in this city.

    Thanks for your answer.

It means nothing to me. A child of three might say, "I will be four this December", but most children cannot speak fluently until well after their first birthday.

ps (later). Ignore this post. I was responding to the title, not to the question. Sorry

Context is important. Please provide enough for us to be able to deal effectively with your question.
Your thread title should include all or part of the word/phrase being discussed.

If my assumption below is correct, no. It is not correct.

    See my suggestion below.

Fairly sure he means to say 'In December I will have been in this city for one year'.

There are various options you can choose from.
I'm not a teacher yet, but I am studying a Bachelor of Education with an English Literature major at Charles Sturt University, in NSW, Australia.
