Well, to me it does not seem wrong grammatically. However, it does not seem natural and common. Try to rephrase your sentence to make it more natural.

Can I put this word like in order to in the middle of the sentence? It is a debatable issue that in order to succeed, it is better to be more like others than to be different from others.
