    Default Name of a Puzzle

    "M D M D F S __. Fill in the next letter."

Do you know what's the name of the above puzzle? Is it an algebra puzzle?

    Thanks!

I took it to be the initial letters of the days of the week in German.

I would just call it a logic puzzle. I also assumed it was the days of the week in German, especially once I saw the OP is in Switzerland.
