    Default Drink or Drinks?

Usually we will say thanks for the drink or thanks for the drinks? (assuming someone has bought you a cup of tea)

    Thanks for the help!!!

We don't refer to 'drinks' if it's one cup of tea.
Context is important. Please provide enough for us to be able to deal effectively with your question.
Your thread title should include all or part of the word/phrase being discussed.

    Thanks for the help!!!
When you get your tea, you say simply "Thank you".
When you leave, if you've been given several drinks (of whatever kind), you can say, "Thanks for the drinks". If you've had several cups of tea, you say simply "Thanks for the tea".

It would sound strange to say "Thank you for the drinks" if you only had one.
