using informal contractions in conversation and test

Hi all,
I would to know about using informal contractions in conversation. Can I use these contractions such as gona, wanna, gimme, gotta,...in IELTS, TOEFL,...?
What do you think about learning and using these contractions? Is this good or bad?

I am confused if I should learn it or not.

Do not use them in any test.

Don't use them in any writing at all, outside of an e-mail to your close friends.

Don't even use them with close friends in email or even in notes to yourself.
But you say "conversation". You should not try to say these 'words'. If and when you produce them naturally in speech as your English improves, that's OK. Actually trying to say 'gonna' etc. in a non-native speaker usually sounds forced and, well, lame.
